No doubt that WordPress plugins are everything you need to run a perfect WordPress website.
There are thousands of plugins available in the WordPress repository right now. From which, you have to use PayPal Donations plugin.
If you don’t want to deal with the codes then you have to use this plugin.
Just install and activate it.
Once you do that, go to Settings>>PayPal Donations and you will see its configuration page. You can clearly see the field to add your PayPal account email address.
You can also add your Secure Merchant ID.
If you have created any custom page in your PayPal account then you can fill it. It’s optional so if don’t have any idea then leave it blank.
If you scroll more, you will see a few other fields where you can set an amount you want others to donate. Suppose you add $20 then it will get added by default whenever someone would donate.
You can add the reference, purpose, and select the donation button design.
You can use a small button, the bigger one or the one with all the cards referenced. The choice is yours. Once you do that, save the settings.
After that, go to Appearance>>Widgets and you will see a PayPal Donations widget. Just drag and drop it in the sidebar or the footer.
It’s easy to use and your PayPal donate button will be showing.
There are a few advanced settings of the plugin you would want to explore. You can even test the plugin by clicking on the button.
It will take you to a page where your email address will be mentioned so that people can know to whom they’re donating.
If you have added the default amount then it will be set automatically otherwise, people would be free to donate any amount.
